• Detoxify the bamboo in a boiling solution of salt water, cook, and then change the water two to three times until the water becomes more clean. 
• Take the straws from the water and let them dry naturally

Step #5: Optional Finishing

• Apply coconut oil or beeswax to the bamboo straws for added durability and longevity
